Lokai Rose Activity Schedule:
FRIDAY, JUNE 11
Creatures of the Night
See if you can identify native species by their calls! This activity focuses on nocturnal species that we don't often get to see, but can certainly hear every night | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm (rolling start time)*
Bioluminescent Scorpion Search
Use black-lights to search for bioluminescent scorpions that have been hidden in the park. This practice is commonly used by scientists to find nocturnal species | 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
SATURDAY, JUNE 12
Observe and learn all about a collection of beautiful native butterflies. Then, enjoy a children's book reading and watch as the butterflies are released into the park! | 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Scat Identification Game
Study a variety of scat replicas and see if you can identify what native species left which scat behind. Try your best, and earn a scat sticker! | 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm (rolling start time)*
Animal Habitat Displays
Enjoy habitat displays featuring some of Lokai Rose's rescued ambassador animals! | 11 am - 2:00 pm (rolling start time)*
*Please note which activities have rolling start times and which do not. If the activity does not say it has a rolling start time, then it will only occur 1 time at the start of its timeslot.
