The
Wilderness
Club
The Wilderness Club is a summer camp founded by our Director, Tina Lokai, and our Director of Education, Amanda MacDermid, in the summer of 2014. For years, Tina and Amanda were eager to find a way to share their knowledge and passion for the natural world with all of the wonderful children in their lives. As a result, The Wilderness Club was created; and it has turned out to be everything they hoped and more!

By combining their skill sets and working tirelessly to create extraordinary programs for their campers, Amanda and Tina have successfully become the first and only camp permitted to run in Ringwood State Park, led many exciting hikes, hosted live wildlife presentations, and MUCH more for the past 9 years.

The importance of plants and trees will be discussed with an emphasis on their role during the spring and each recruit will even create their own personal garden. Adventures allow recruits to expand their knowledge and most importantly, gain respect for the natural world.
