Payment Policy Update
Lokai Rose no longer accepts separate deposit and balance payments for summer camp. Instead, we have transitioned to a "pay in full" model. We believe this adjustment will simplify the payment process and allow us to better focus on creating an enriching and memorable camp experience for your children!

Key points of the updated payment policy:

-
Full Payment:
-
We appreciate parents & guardians making the full payment for summer camp upfront on our website. This one-time payment will cover the entire cost of your child's participation in the camp.
-
-
Nonrefundable Deposit:
-
Each full payment includes a $50 deposit. The $50 deposit per child will remain nonrefundable because we begin customizing your child's camp experience far in advance.
-
-
Refund Eligibility:
-
The balance of the payment (i.e. the total camp price minus the $50 nonrefundable deposit) is eligible for a refund if registration is canceled before March 1st for spring camp, and before April 30th for all other camps. After these dates, the full payment becomes nonrefundable, as it allows us to finalize arrangements and ensure a smooth camp experience for all participants.
-
Sibling Discount
Sibling Discount Details:
Lokai Rose is proud to be offering sibling discounts to show our appreciation for families with multiple children participating in our summer camps. Here's how it works:
-
The first child attending camp will pay the full registration price.
-
Parents & guardians will receive a 10% discount on the registration fee for each additional sibling attending camp.
This means that while the first child pays the regular rate, subsequent siblings will enjoy a 10% reduction in their registration fee. It's our way of making the summer camp experience more accessible and enjoyable for families with multiple children!

Spring is in the air! It's the most magical time as snow and ice melt, new life sprouts, and the natural world livens again. Campers will explore the enchantment of spring, gaining an understanding of what makes this season so special. Hands-on activities and guided explorations will help campers welcome spring in a new and exciting way.
This unique camp experience centers around inspiring young people to use their voices. Throughout the week, we will assist them in preparing a wildlife presentation for their families. The campers will proudly host this presentation on the final day of camp, providing them with a platform to share their newfound knowledge and passion.

People are often so afraid of bugs and Lokai Rose would like to change that! Insects and arachnids aren’t appreciated for the things they do such as; pollinating, cleaning soil, and regulating natural cycles. Humans need these amazing ‘creepy’ crawlers! Activities include daily bug searches, career studies, and preserved bug pinning. Explorations will reveal the secret world of bugs and campers will uncover a newfound appreciation for some of the most ancient, diverse, and misunderstood creatures on Earth. Campers will finish this 3 day experience by presenting a bug project to their families on the last day at our own Bug Exhibition!

During Art in the Wild, campers will explore the art and sound of nature through guided experiences. Explorations into animal calls, natural colors, forest walks, and the power of water will reveal a hidden and beautiful world! Campers will participate in guided eco-friendly activities that focus on wildlife appreciation, eco-awareness, and the power of one. They will learn about the power of artivism and explore how art can inspire people to protect the Earth. This experience will empower your child to discover the beauty of nature in a new way.
Since this fantastic experience is in collaboration with Passaic County, campers will be provided with a hot lunch and a snack every day. They will also enjoy the pool and splash pad every afternoon!
