Vernon Animal Control Paws-A-Thon

Leash up your pup (must be leashed, well behaved, licensed and socialized) and join us for a 5k walk at Maple Grange Park at 9:00am on October 2, 2021 to support the Vernon Animal Shelter. A fun filled morning with music provided by DJ Hi Energy Entertainment and free doggie treats from Oh My Dog and door prizes! Your $15 registration includes a training presentation by trainer and behaviorist Norma Overlook. Lokai Rose Wildlife and Rescue will be on site along with a bake sale and t-shirts available for purchase.

The Vernon Animal Shelter serves not only Vernon, but many of the surrounding communities in keeping our fur friend population safe and healthy.

With your help, our friends at The Vernon Animal Shelter can continue on this mission, serving and aiding as many animals as possible. Every animal that comes to the shelter receives any necessary medical treatment. They partner to provide low cost spay/neuter clinics, free rabies clinics, a TNR program for feral cats and of course finding furever homes for all of the animals that find themselves at Hotel Vernon. Donations of supplies such as cat food, dog food, kitten milk, kitty litter, towels, blankets and sheets are always welcome as well as gift cards to tractor Supply, local food stores, Walmart, etc.
